Diamond Certificates

In addition to offering you exceptional diamonds at great prices, we want you to be completely confident that your purchase is safe and secure.

At Diamonds4Sale.com.au all of our loose diamonds are accompanied by a Diamond Grading Report prepared by an independent gemological laboratory. These Certificates represents proof of identity and quality and gives you confidence that the item being purchased matches what is described in the corresponding certification and grading documents. We offer diamond grading reports issued by two of the leading international gemological laboratories: the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and the American Gem Society (AGS). While aspects of diamond grading are subjective, both these laboratories have received international recognition for their high standards and ethics. In addition to overseas reports,  in Australia we use the Sydney based laboratories: Gem Studies Laboratory (GSL) run by the highly qualified and esteemed valuer Bill Sechos and  DCLA.

Each Diamond Grading Report is assigned a unique number that corresponds to the stone and certifies its characteristics.

The GIA produces a full diamond grading report (for diamonds over 99 points) with a diagram that plots all the inclusions unique to the stone. In some cases, the diamond will be laser-inscribed with the number of the Diamond Grading Report.

A Diamond Dossier is an abbreviated version of the Diamond Grading Report that does not contain a diagram of the stone. However, the report number is laser-inscribed on the girdle of the diamond for identification
Should you wish to have merchandise examined by another diamond grading laboratory, Diamonds4Sale.com.au accepts no responsibility for those results, and such findings will in no way affect or alter certification, valuation or grading documents as provided by diamonds4sale.com.au. They shall simply serve as the customer's reference items.

We strongly recommend you review the Diamond Grading Report prior to buying.
